I have a hair problem...?

I've always loved my smooth long hair but I have a friend who's got even better hair then me so I asked her what kind of shampoo she used. She told me Rejoice. I bought 2 bottles of it in the market, thinking it would improve my hair but after washing my hair it turned frizzy! I was horrified! But I didn't know why it was happening so I continued using the shampoo. Big mistake. I had used up the first bottle and was on the second when I FINALLY realized the shampoo was the problem. I've stopped, but I'm still worried. Can you guys recommend a good shampoo for me? Something that's common, like, you can buy it in the supermarket. And how do I cure my frizzy hair? And I really need to know: If I wash my hair with a better shampoo once can the friziness go away? If not please give me advice I don't wanna look like a bush-head....
