I Broke a Gl Today, and A Small Piece of Gl Got Stuck in the Heel of my Foot... HELP!?

Today, I accidentally broke a gl on my kitchen floor, and later on today, after I had swept up the mess, somehow I missed a sliver and it got stuck in my foot. It's an extremely small sliver of gl - maybe on the size of a grain of sand. I can feel it when my foot touches the ground, and it hurts. I can feel it when I hit it with tweezers, but the tweezers can't grab it and pull it out. I've tried tape already, and that didn't work either. Help, I'm panicking! Am I going to need surgery!?
