How do Protestsnts feel about calling priests father?

many protestants say that you should not call a priest father but instead call only God Father because that is what Jesus said. well what about our earthly fathers? are we not to call them father? so the commandment that said honor thy father and thy mother really just means honor God. i need some answers.
