Help? Homeschooling problems?

Okay... I'm having a hard time with computer literacy (so is my friend), right now I have 69 and shes at 73, if somehow we fail this online cl when we go back to public school (next year) will we be able to go ahead and move on to our grade/ take the cl again? I'm in 9th grade and she's in 8th grade, so we need to know if we fail this online cl will that affect us in public school?
