If I'm changing my name for show business should I make it legall or just use it on my resume?

if you change your name you can't change your identity. what about the things that your real name is on up until now. all of that will have to be changed too, you need to wait and see if you actually get into show business first before you start changing anything. what's wrong with the name that you have why not make it famous?!
